This was the third prone position kart I created. Like all my karts, it was made from all recycled parts. It was all aluminum with a repurposed surfboard for a roof. This is a 3 wheel device with the front steering column made from recycled stainless steel. It had a sound system, cameras, and LED light system.
Left Side View
The raised aluminum lettering on the side hatch, IGMA, are an acronym for "It Gets Me Around". The wheelie bars on the rear would stop it from flipping over backwards on a steep incline.
Right Side View
The eel head on the steering column has razor sharp teeth with the front camera located inside the mouth. The side opening contained a 1950's aluminum lunch box for storage.
Surfboard Roof Rack View
The sharks teeth lined roof rack was easy to remove for transporting. The surfboard was locked on the rack with velcro slides. The surfboard mad a great roof because the heat from the sun did not transfer to the bottom side.
