Wildmman's Monster Truck

The Dragon Monster Truck

this is an image of Wildmman's Dragon truck which is a fiberglass bodied four wheel drive Ford truck. It has a dragon face front end with fins across the top of the body and along the bed.
The Dragon monster truck was built on a one ton 4X4 chassis. It was made with numerous pieces of recycled fiberglass parts of boats and a hot tub.

This truck transitioned to many different versions over ten years. I drove it cross country from Florida to New York to California.

Dragon Monster Truck .. Rear View

This is a rear view image of Wildmman's Dragon monster truck. The body was textured like reptile skin.
The back is convex because it is the made from the bottom piece of a 14' fiberglass boat hull. The rear triangular windows were salvaged from a Grumman step van.

Dragon Truck Interior

This is an image of the dashboard and interior of the Dragon monster truck. The gauge cluster was made of fiberglass. A fiberglass alien head with stainless steel flex tubes is centered on the dash so the air conditioner blew air through it.
The Dragon monster trucks dashboard was fiberglass over steel. The A/C vent ran thru the alien head with stainless tubes.

The four wheel drive stone shift knob was from a 1920's Stutz Bearcat that belonged to Jim Rinkard. He was a great photographer and outdoorsman who died in the 1950's in Englewood Florida.

The Shaqzilla Monster Truck

this is an image of Wildmman's Shaqzilla monster truck. The image has a hand made fiberglass toy truck replica of Shaqzilla in the foreground.
This was done during the 1990's when Shaq brought some fun to Orlando basketball.
The baby Shaqzilla truck I made out of fiberglass for my son.

This is the rear view image of Shaqzilla showing the mural of Shaq dunking a basketball thru a Superman logo over a bull.
Shaqzilla's rear cab wall was painted with an image of Shaq dunking thru the Superman logo on a bull.

Shaqzilla with a Steel Sculpture

The steel dunk scuplture was welded into the bed of the truck. The sculpture was stick arms and hands with a backboard and hoop.

The Alien Sled

After the dragon series, the truck had two alien versions. The alien series began after finding a pile of broken mannequin parts. I fiberglassed the broken pieces into aliens, then glassed them into the body of the truck.

The Alien Sled.. Right Side View

The dragon fins and horns were cut off the hood and roof to give the truck a sled look.

The Alien Monster Truck

This was the last version of Wildmman's monster truck. It lived in Colorado and Florida with us.

Alien Monster Truck.. Left Side View

The aliens piercing eyes watch the front sides and rear of the truck. No matter where it went, the aliens looked at everything around them..which made some people very uncomfortable.

Alien Monster Truck.. Right Side View

I took this truck to Harrod Blank's Art Car Show in Berkeley California and had a great time. Harrod and his sponsors put on the best show and entertainment for the art car people.

We started with a hotel provided in Berkeley and ended up camping out with catered food and a wood burning hot tub. It was the best gathering of artists I ever hung out with.

The Black Draggin Truck

This was done for a trip to hang out at Daytona Speedway for a race. This was built before racing monster trucks had anything other than standard pickup bodies, so it really freaked out some of the conservative people. I think it was too crazy for them.. imagine that.. today it would be pretty tame.

A lot of work went into this for just a weekend trip!
